Telangana Government Unveils Key Plans for Farmers and Workers on Republic Day
On Republic Day, the Telangana government will launch four major initiatives aimed at supporting farmers and workers, with financial provisions already in place.

On Republic Day, there will be a big celebration in Telangana. On this day, the Telangana government will start four important plans to help people. The finance department has already arranged the money needed for these plans. The government will give money to farmers and workers without any problems. Also, new houses under the Indiramma scheme and new ration cards will be given to people on January 26.
Helping Farmers:
Under the Rythu Bharosa plan, farmers will get ₹12,000 for each acre of land. First, ₹6,000 will be given for one crop. The Indiramma Atheemeya Bharosa plan will give ₹12,000 to workers every year. The money will be sent to their bank accounts twice a year, just like the Rythu Bharosa plan. The first ₹6,000 will be given soon.
Money Needed:
The government needs ₹10,000 crore for the Rythu Bharosa and Indiramma Atheemeya Bharosa plans. The finance department has arranged this money. The government will use money from different sources, including loans, for these plans.
Money Ready:
The government has already borrowed ₹3,000 crore in January. Also, the government has borrowed ₹10,000 crore by using some lands as security. This money is ready to be used for the plans. The government will first send money to farmers with small lands and later to farmers with large lands.
More Loans:
The government is also looking for money for other plans, salaries, and development work. The central government has not yet given approval for loans for the last part of the year. But officials expect the approval to come soon. In total, the government can borrow up to ₹52,000 crore in the 2024-25 year. Till now, the government has borrowed over ₹43,000 crore and may borrow another ₹10,000 crore soon.
